Save a Life: Learning CPR

Knowing CPR or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation will give you the skills you need to help us save lives. Cardiac arrests are the leading cause of adult death in this country. Many times, they happen in the home or at work. In those first few seconds, having someone nearby who knows how to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and how to use an AED, or automatic external defibrillator, can mean the difference between life and death.

Chest compression-only CPR can double or even triple a victim’s chance of survival. In medical emergencies, the sooner CPR can be administered, the greater the chance for the patient to have a good outcome. There are many CPR classes in the Denver metro area. Here are some:
